Sometime in 2003
This was my first attempt at writing an Operating System. This project was started in November, 2002. It contained working PS2 mouse drivers and VGA drivers (mode 13 only). It was a single-tasking, real-mode OS only (yes... limited to the 640K chunk of RAM...) Written entirely in assembly, and, unfortunetly, lost in an electrical... "thing" in September 2003. There was a backup copy of the source on my second harddrive,... which of course, was plugged into the same computer and died at the same time. Full size image |
