- Boots from floppy - Loads and launches apps (single task only at this time)

- FDC + FAT12 drivers - Protected mode memory manager with GDT and IDT manipulation
Aug 11 2004 : AlsOS2 now capable of simple apps! current version: 2.00.014
That's right! My OS has reached the point where external apps can be written
(albeit only a small set of available services for the apps at the moment),
then loaded into the OS and executed. Apps automatically get a memory and
Selector into the GDT (protected mode). Currently, all Ring 0;... Also,
single-tasking only. AlsOS2 has now officially surpassed AlsOS (original). See screenshots

Well, my OS is progressing nicely and I thought it was time to put together
a home for it online. This'll also help me organize my documents and
references; and make them available to others like me who are writing pet OS's.
